We strive to record the strength & natural beauty of your equine & the special bond that presents between both of you. Based on the Gower Peninsula, with one of the most wonderful backgrounds in the nation! We at Amber Skye Photography approach Equine horse photography in a unique & mysterious way, catching the real character & partnerships among the horse & their owner, dealing with the natural light readily available to us to our best advantage but when just daylight is not enough, we can use a combination of carefully managed fabricated light & daylight.

Based in an area of outstanding natural beauty, on the gower peninsula, Swansea, South Wales. Our photography sessions can be at home, on the farm, livery yard or a setting of your selection - creating unconventional & professional staged / un-staged scenes finding wonderful backgrounds for your photography session wherever you are. We shoot all over the UK with a mileage rate of 50p per mile.

Equine photography is our passion, we put together exquisite ageless portraits of your horse in an original way using years of photographic proficiency learned on unforgiving film emulsions, long prior to the creation of electronic photography and Photoshop. Our very early love affair with light and its relationship with subjects has probably led me down a path of using controlled daylight and crafted studio lighting approaches to achieve pictures that are powerful yet calming and that convey the grace and humbleness provided to us by our equines. Horse photography is a specialist fine art form, requiring bountiful patience and dedication to understanding the equine form.
